What is OEKO-TEX certification?
OEKO-TEX
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certifies that a textile or material has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for human use. In footwear it is applied to uppers, linings and textile components to reassure buyers about chemical safety.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 tests for regulated and harmful substances against limit values, with stricter classes for products in closer skin contact, including baby articles.
It complements REACH and a buyer’s RSL as a recognised, product-level chemical-safety mark.
DOING can source OEKO-TEX-certified textiles where a buyer wants certified low-chemical materials.
