What is a footwear tech pack?
Tech pack
A tech pack is the technical specification document for a shoe: materials, colours, construction, measurements, logos, packaging and size grading. It tells the factory exactly how to build the shoe and is the basis for accurate quoting and consistent production.
A footwear tech pack typically includes a bill of materials, technical drawings, construction notes, size grading, branding placement and packaging specs.
A clear tech pack reduces sampling rounds, miscommunication and price surprises.
