Every style below can run as OEM (you supply the design and spec), ODM (you pick from our developed styles and we adapt them), private label (our build, your brand) or full-custom development from a sketch or reference sample.
- Ankle boots
- The most common private-label boot: cemented or stitched sole, leather or PU upper, side zip or elastic gore. Shortest tooling path of any boot type because an existing last can often be re-cut to your shape.
- Chelsea boots
- Elastic-gore boots live or die on gore tension and pull-tab anchoring — get those wrong and they either fight the foot or bag out after a month. We prototype gore width and stiffness before cutting the production last.
- Desert boots
- Crepe or rubber outsole on a soft unlined suede upper. Cost is driven by the suede grade; we quote two or three grades so you can see where the price lands before you commit to a leather.
- Winter boots
- Insulated linings (fleece, Thinsulate-type wadding, wool blends) plus a colder-flex outsole compound. Say the target service temperature and we pick the compound — a standard rubber sole stiffens and cracks in real cold.
- Snow boots
- Higher shafts, sealed or bootie construction and deep-lug traction. Fully moulded snow boots use different tooling from cemented leather boots — tell us the construction and we confirm which of our lines or selected partner factories runs it.
- Rain boots
- PVC or rubber moulded builds — a different process from cemented footwear, with its own moulds and cure cycle. We take rain-boot programmes through our partner network rather than pretending it is the same line as a leather boot.
- Work-crossover boots
- Boot-height uppers with safety features (toe cap, midsole plate) built to the spec you specify; see /safety-shoe-manufacturer/ for the certified side of that range.

Materials and finished shoes are built to documented physical-testing and QC standards — aligned to Chinese national (GB) and international norms — with a 6-stage quality process and final AQL inspection before shipment.

Whole-boot bond strength, cold-temperature outsole flex and — for waterproof builds — water-tightness are tested before shipment.

Final inspection uses random, non-consecutive AQL sampling with a three-tier defect grade — Class A inspected to a strict AQL 0.065. Any Class A defect rejects the batch.

Boots — buyer questions
What is the difference in cost between a cemented and a stitched boot?
Cemented (glued) construction is the volume standard and the cheapest to run. Stitchdown and Goodyear-welted builds cost more in both labour and tooling and take longer to sample, but they can be resoled and read as premium at retail. For most private-label ankle boot and Chelsea boot programmes cemented is the right answer; welted only pays back if your price point supports it.
Can you make rain boots and snow boots as well as leather boots?
Yes, but they are different processes. Rain boots are PVC or rubber moulded builds with their own moulds and cure cycle; fully moulded snow boots are closer to that than to a cemented leather boot. We run those programmes through our selected partner network rather than pretending it is the same production line, and we confirm feasibility and mould cost before you commit.
What tooling do I pay for on a new boot programme?
Normally a last (the foot form) and an outsole mould, plus a heel if the design needs one. Last development is the cheaper half; outsole moulds are the real investment and are cut per size run. Re-using an existing last with a new upper pattern is the fastest, cheapest way to add a boot style to a range, and we will tell you when that is possible instead of quoting new tooling.
How do you keep winter boot linings warm without making the boot stiff?
Insulation and flexibility fight each other. We pair the lining (fleece, wadding or wool blend) with an outsole compound rated for the service temperature you name. A standard rubber sole stiffens and can crack in genuine cold, which is the failure most buyers only discover in their second winter.
What do you test on a boot before it ships?
Bond (peel) strength on the sole, outsole abrasion, shaft and gore recovery on elastic-gore styles, colorfastness to rubbing on the upper, and cold flex on winter and snow builds. Tests run against the approved production sample, and third-party lab reports can be arranged through accredited labs when your market requires them.
Do you offer OEM and ODM?
Both. With OEM we build to your design and specs; with ODM we develop new designs with you from concept. We also do private-label branding, labels and packaging.
Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a footwear trading & manufacturing partner — our own factory plus a selected partner-factory network, with product development, quality control and export handled in-house. You get factory pricing with the service of a sourcing partner.
