Who is Danny Xu?

Danny Xu is the Founder & CEO of DOING SHOES (DOING INT'L CORP. LIMITED), a footwear trading & manufacturing partner in Quanzhou, China. He began his career in footwear in 2000 and founded DOING SHOES in 2012 to help international brands, importers and wholesalers develop and manufacture footwear with greater confidence, transparency and efficiency.

I founded DOING SHOES with a simple mission: to help international footwear brands, importers and wholesalers manufacture quality footwear in China with greater confidence, transparency and efficiency.

My journey began shortly after graduating from university with a degree in International Trade. At that time China’s export industry was growing rapidly, and I chose to join one of Quanzhou’s most important industries — footwear manufacturing. Starting from the ground up, I gained hands-on experience in production, international sales, merchandising, order management and customer service.

Years later I joined our family-owned manufacturing business and established DOING SHOES to expand into global markets. Since then I have worked with customers across Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East and Asia — from private-label collections to fully customised OEM and ODM development.

Today our goal remains the same as it was on day one: to build long-term relationships based on trust, quality and professional communication rather than short-term transactions.

2000

Began my career in footwear — after graduating with a degree in International Trade, I entered one of Quanzhou’s most important industries, learning production, international sales, merchandising and order coordination from the ground up.

2002

Our family footwear factory was established in Quanzhou — the manufacturing foundation the business still runs on today.

2012

Joined the family manufacturing business and founded DOING SHOES to serve international customers directly.

2016

Expanded into global markets and focused on OEM & ODM development — building partnerships across Europe, North & South America, the Middle East and Asia.

Today

Supporting global footwear brands, importers and wholesalers with reliable manufacturing and long-term partnerships.
