- Vegan shoes
- No animal-derived material anywhere in the shoe — upper, lining, adhesive and thread included. Adhesives are where most "vegan" programmes quietly fail, so we confirm the full bill of materials, not just the upper.
- Sustainable shoes
- Material-led rather than label-led: recycled content, lower-impact tanning alternatives, reduced packaging. We tell you what we can document and what we cannot — an unverifiable claim on a shoe box is a liability, not a feature.
- Recycled-content shoes
- rPET knit and mesh uppers, recycled rubber and EVA content in soling, recycled paperboard packaging. Where a recycled-content percentage is claimed, supplier documentation has to support it.
- Canvas shoes
- Cotton and organic-cotton canvas on vulcanized or cemented builds — the most established plant-based upper and usually the cheapest entry to a vegan range.
- Hemp shoes
- Hemp and hemp-blend canvas uppers. Coarser hand-feel and a different shrink behaviour from cotton, so patterns need adjusting rather than copying across.
- Eco-friendly footwear programmes
- Bio-based and water-based adhesives, solvent reduction and recycled packaging can be specified as part of the build. Tell us which of these your market actually audits and we prioritise those.
- Documentation
- Material certificates (recycled content, tannery and chemical compliance) can be collected through our supply chain and third-party lab reports arranged through accredited labs — that is what makes an eco range defensible at retail.

Materials and finished shoes are built to documented physical-testing and QC standards — aligned to Chinese national (GB) and international norms — with a 6-stage quality process and final AQL inspection before shipment.
Physical testing
Recycled and vegan materials go through the same physical testing — tensile, bond and colorfastness — as conventional materials before release.

Final inspection uses random, non-consecutive AQL sampling with a three-tier defect grade — Class A inspected to a strict AQL 0.065. Any Class A defect rejects the batch.

Vegan & Sustainable Shoes — buyer questions
What makes a shoe genuinely vegan, and where do programmes usually fail?
Every component has to be animal-free: upper, lining, thread, footbed and, the one that catches people out, the adhesive. Some traditional adhesives and finishes are animal-derived. We confirm the full bill of materials rather than just the upper, because a vegan claim that fails on the glue is worse than no claim at all.
Can you document recycled content?
Only as far as our supply chain can evidence it. rPET knit and mesh uppers, recycled rubber and EVA content in soling and recycled paperboard packaging all come with supplier documentation, and we pass that through. Where a specific recycled percentage is going on the shoe or the box, it has to be supported by that paperwork, and we will tell you when it cannot be.
What is the difference between canvas and hemp uppers in production?
Cotton canvas is the established, lowest-cost plant-based upper and works on vulcanized or cemented builds. Hemp and hemp blends are coarser and shrink differently, so patterns need adjusting rather than copying across from a canvas style. Expect one extra sampling round the first time you run hemp.
Can you use water-based adhesives and reduce solvent use?
Yes, this can be specified as part of the build. Tell us which of these your market actually audits (recycled content, chemical compliance, tannery documentation, solvent use) and we prioritise the ones that will be checked, instead of spreading effort across claims nobody asks to see.
What compliance testing should an eco or vegan range carry?
Chemical compliance is the practical one: restricted substances, azo dyes, phthalates and heavy metals for your market (REACH and equivalents). Third-party lab reports can be arranged through accredited labs. That paperwork, not the marketing language, is what makes a sustainable range defensible at retail.
Do you offer OEM and ODM?
Both. With OEM we build to your design and specs; with ODM we develop new designs with you from concept. We also do private-label branding, labels and packaging.
Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a footwear trading & manufacturing partner — our own factory plus a selected partner-factory network, with product development, quality control and export handled in-house. You get factory pricing with the service of a sourcing partner.
