- Road running shoes
- Cushioned everyday trainers — the volume core of most running ranges. Midsole density and stack decide the ride; get them fixed before tooling is cut.
- Trail running shoes
- Aggressive lugs, rock protection and reinforced uppers. Traction compound and toe-bumper bond are the two things we test hardest here.
- Marathon / racing shoes
- Light, high-rebound builds, optionally carbon-plated. We have developed carbon-plate racing shoes for a customer competing in marathon markets, so this is proven ground.
- Lightweight running shoes
- Weight is designed in, not trimmed at the end — midsole volume, outsole rubber coverage and upper overlays. Give us a target weight at a reference size and we show the trade-offs.
- Jogging / entry-level shoes
- Durable, cost-led builds for mass retail: compression-moulded EVA midsoles and full-coverage rubber outsoles.
- Athleisure crossover
- Running-shoe silhouettes tuned for all-day wear rather than mileage — usually a softer midsole and a simpler upper.
- Performance testing
- Compression set and rebound, outsole abrasion, whole-shoe bond and flex, plus rubbing colorfastness on the upper — tested against the approved production sample.

How we control quality on every running shoe order
Materials and finished shoes are built to documented physical-testing and QC standards — aligned to Chinese national (GB) and international norms — with a 6-stage quality process and final AQL inspection before shipment.
Physical testing
Midsole compression set & rebound, outsole DIN abrasion and whole-shoe flex are tested so the ride and durability hold up over distance.

Final inspection uses random, non-consecutive AQL sampling with a three-tier defect grade — Class A inspected to a strict AQL 0.065. Any Class A defect rejects the batch.

Running Shoes — buyer questions
How do you specify stack height and drop on a running shoe?
Stack height is the midsole thickness under heel and forefoot; drop is the difference between the two. A road cushioning shoe commonly runs 8–10 mm drop, a natural-ride or trail shoe 4–6 mm, and zero-drop for minimalist builds. Give us the drop and the heel stack you want and we build the last and midsole tooling to it — changing drop after tooling is cut is the expensive kind of change, so it is worth fixing early.
Which midsole foam should we choose — EVA, phylon or a supercritical foam?
Compression-moulded EVA is the cost-effective baseline. Phylon (moulded EVA pellets) is lighter with better rebound and is the usual choice for performance road shoes. Supercritical foams give the highest energy return and lowest weight but cost more and are more sensitive in production. We work across EVA and phylon for midsoles, footbeds and outsoles, and we test compression set and rebound so the shoe that ships behaves like the sample you approved.
Can you build carbon-plated performance running shoes?
Yes. We have developed carbon-plate racing shoes for a customer competing in marathon markets, so this is proven ground rather than a claim. Plate geometry, plate position in the midsole stack and foam pairing all change the ride, so this category needs more sampling rounds than a standard cushioning shoe — plan the timeline accordingly.
How do you hit a target shoe weight?
Weight is designed in, not trimmed at the end. It comes from midsole density and volume, outsole rubber coverage, upper material and the amount of overlay and reinforcement. Give us a target weight per shoe at a reference size (usually US 9 men’s) and we tell you which trade-offs it forces — normally between weight, durability and price. Weighing the confirmed sample is part of approval.
What do you test before a running shoe ships?
Outsole abrasion, midsole compression set and rebound, whole-shoe bond strength and outsole flex, plus colorfastness to rubbing on the upper. For trail builds we add traction and toe-bumper bond. Testing is against the approved production sample, and third-party lab reports can be arranged through accredited labs when your retailer or market requires them.
Do you offer OEM and ODM?
Both. With OEM we build to your design and specs; with ODM we develop new designs with you from concept. We also do private-label branding, labels and packaging.
Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a footwear trading & manufacturing partner — our own factory plus a selected partner-factory network, with product development, quality control and export handled in-house. You get factory pricing with the service of a sourcing partner.
