- Membrane bootie construction
- A sealed waterproof-breathable bootie inside the shoe, with taped or welded seams. This is the build that actually keeps water out, as opposed to a water-repellent finish that stops working after a few washes.
- Waterproof hiking shoes and boots

- Waterproof work footwear
- Wet-site industrial builds: waterproof upper, oil-resistant outsole, and protective toe or plate where the spec calls for it.
- Rain and winter city shoes
- Everyday waterproof footwear where the shoe still has to look like a city shoe rather than a boot. Membrane plus a treated leather or synthetic upper.
- Hunting and fishing footwear
- Higher shafts, quiet uppers and full waterproofing. Often paired with insulation, which changes the outsole compound choice for cold conditions.
- Water-repellent vs waterproof
- A DWR finish repels; a membrane keeps water out. We will tell you which one your price point supports, and we will not let a repellent-finish shoe be sold as waterproof — that is a returns problem waiting to happen.
- 100% water-pressure testing
- Every single pair is water-pressure tested to 10,000 mm before it ships, not just a sample. Failures are rejected or repaired and retested. This is the part of the process most buyers cannot get from a factory at all.

How we control quality on every waterproof shoe order
Materials and finished shoes are built to documented physical-testing and QC standards — aligned to Chinese national (GB) and international norms — with a 6-stage quality process and final AQL inspection before shipment.

100% water-pressure testing — every single pair is tested to 10,000 mm before it ships, not just a sample; failures are rejected or repaired and retested.

Final inspection uses random, non-consecutive AQL sampling with a three-tier defect grade — Class A inspected to a strict AQL 0.065. Any Class A defect rejects the batch.

Waterproof Shoes — buyer questions
How waterproof are your shoes?
We build with a waterproof membrane bootie and seam-sealed joints, and test to 10,000 mm water pressure. Ratings can be tuned to your target use — everyday water resistance through to fully waterproof outdoor and work footwear.
Do you test every pair for waterproofing?
Yes. Waterproof styles go through 100% water-pressure testing — every single pair is tested, not just a sample — and any unit that fails is rejected or repaired and retested.
Can waterproof shoes still breathe?
Yes. We use breathable waterproof membranes, so the shoe keeps water out while letting moisture vapour escape — important for comfort in outdoor and work footwear.
What is your MOQ?
Our MOQ is 400–600 pairs per colour and 1,200 pairs per style. Low-MOQ sampling is available so you can validate a waterproof shoe design before committing to a production run.
How long do samples and production take?
Samples take 2–4 weeks; bulk production takes 30–60 days depending on materials and quantity.
Do you offer OEM and ODM?
Both. With OEM we build to your design and specs; with ODM we develop new designs with you from concept. We also do private-label branding, labels and packaging.
